  Hobbs, one of the pinots I go to when I desire a pinot with a little depth (or body). This one can do that heavy lifting (please remember we are talking pinots!). The aromas are bold black cherry with slight plum and licorice. The flavors match these aromas with a slightly elevated acidity and tannins to match. This is a very nice pinot when you need one to carry a heavy dish. Drinking very nice now and for the next 2 years, maybe 3.

  Similar to my notes of 4 months ago. I opened and let sit for a few hours.. The nose is dark red fruit. The palate is dark cherry, red plums, cedar and spices. The finish is long and smooth.

  Similar to my notes of 6 weeks ago but this time slow ox'd for a few hours. The nose is dark red fruit. The palate is dark cherry, red plums, cedar and spices. The finish was long and more vibrant hence the higher rating.

  This is a seriously good pinot noir. We opened and decanted but definitely not enough. The nose is dark red fruit. The palate is dark cherry, red plums, cedar and spices. The finish is relatively long. A two or three hour decant I am sure would put this at a 94/95. A 92+ for yesterday.
