Enjoyed at high end steakhouse with pork chop with cherry sauce and a fillet with a peppercorn Brandy sauce—it paired nicely with both. Incredible value…drinks like a pricier wine. I tasted it at room temperature and ask the waiter to chill it for five minutes and it was much improved. It was a school night so we only drank half the bottle so I vacuum sealed it when I got home and put it in my cellar. Drank it six days later and although it has lost some of its freshness was still enjoyable with baked apricot chicken thighs, potatoes & green beans. Opaque cherry in color. Minerality & tobacco. Smooth tannins.
