  Very nice, but not quite as much sugar/acid tension (not enough of the latter in this case) or complexity as one sometimes finds in these old rieslings. It's a hit and miss business, not that this was a miss, per se, just nice rather than outstanding. Not that you can really learn much about why one wine is better than another in these sort of lucky dips of ancient rieslings, not sure why I am bothering to keep a record!
