I have known about this wine since Sainsbury's first started selling it many years ago and never rated it very highly. However the 2015 vintage has appeared where I now live (Sydney,Australia) and it's a cracker. Beautiful fruit and already showing a real Bordeaux complexity and class. I am truly surprised and have bought a couple of cases to see where it goes. A fine effort.

Nice nose of ripe plums and blackcurrants. Palate doesnt really deliver on that promise. It’s a bit austere and rustic. Age may soften it a bit. £13 in Sainsbury’s, I won’t be buying more.

Medium body, bright garnet color. Starts with elegant blue fruits aroma complements by smoky wood and dried spices. Traditional dewberry, plummy palate and peppery finish. Silky and easy drinking but enough complex, lovely acidity and balanced tannins. Food friendly, best match is medium rare veal. Serve 15º - 20º. Open about two hours ahead. Drink now and next four/six years.
