Notes written on introspection, tasted at Hong Kong Wine Vault 2016 Benoit Ente Puligny-Montrachet had classic and subtle aromas of wax, grapefruit and smoke. The mouthfeel was full-bodied and balanced.

Mavens and Aficionados Burgundy "class" - session two: The Cote de Beaune (Maple and Ash Chicago, Illinois): Wine #2 at the Mavens second Burgundy class focusing on the Cote de Beaune. Delicate aroma; I thought I detected a whiff of natural gas, which I thought was strange but Dulcie noted the same thing (not crazy then - but something one is reluctant to admit to in case people think you are). Little bit more muscular than the Meursault, grip, minerality, quite dry.

Softened after an hour but this is mouth puckering stuff.

Wine Tasting Group - Burgundy - Nov. 18, 2018 (Classic Wine Storage, Dallas, TX): Mineral, flinty nose, accompanied by tart apple, herbs and mild smoke. Palate had more tart apples, lemon, grapefruit pith, and minerals. Nice length and concentration with a more linear mouthfeel than the Meursault.
