Disappointing. Watery with bare fruit and lots of oak. Dramatic contrast with Holzspur St. Laurent. First note was regarded to Coravin tasting. In three days I opened the bottle. Substantly chilled (14C) it showed more resemblance to German Spat with brine, underwood and some red fruits, but still oak and alcohol seriously dominated. Maybe will improve with time but I’m not sure. Mark updated from 85 to 87 and impression changed from negative to neutral. Updated after tasting of Reinisch’s basic 2018 Pinot Noir (see note). Needs re-tasting with extensive decantig or long cellaring.
