From 75cl, DIAM5 closure, opened but not decanted 30 minutes. Bright raspberry fruit with a hint of redcurrant-pip tannin/astringency and some very welcome dried cranberry concentration. Dusty spice, ripe and moreish, not a hint of greenness—a very good St. Aubin indeed. I disliked the 2015 vintage at a similar age (CT TN 01.03.2022) and remember not seeing the point of buying it, but the 2016 seems to be a more friendly, forward, fruity, welcoming... a different wine altogether. 89–90P
