Ruby with a hint of color suggesting some age Bright lovely cherry nose on first whiff which faded quickly. Bright acidity and seeming a bit lean and not quite austere on first look. Not such a charming wine. Maybe better with time in the glass

Quite delicious. Well-made, high elevation Merlot has a place in the American wine experience. It is a shame that the varietal has received such a bad reputation in the wake of the movie that shall not be named. I very much enjoyed this. Lush, but expressive. Soft, but not lacking in structure.

Pop and pour. Silky viscosity is the strength of this Howell Mountain Merlot. The palate is cherry with very slight bitterness. Not my style but others may like better.

Bright ruby color, very smooth, very mild tannins. Fruit forward and jammy. Silky smooth
