  • Exactly what Beerzebub said, except maybe it made me smile a bit more. If one were to be stuck in Lodi, one could do far worse.

  • P&p. Aroma is fairly strongly floral (lavender and rose, more or less), together with plummy fruit (more specifically, Red Plum Nantucket Nectars), light dried herbs, and light earth/funk. Generally rustic. Very recognizable varietal character. Light bodied, with light tannins like plum skin or red apple skin, and lightish but adequate acidity. Overall it's reasonably balanced and cohesive, tasty, fun, and easy to drink. Not elegant or complex, and not trying to be; and not an obvious value at $25; but enjoyable just how it is.
