  • Purchased recently from my local big box wine store, where it was being pushed hard, for $17. I've found it increasingly difficult to find good chards for less than $30. I drink the Acacia Carneros from time to time, which can be purchased at the large warehouse store for not much more than $10 when it's on sale; that wine is pleasant and well-balanced, but it's simple and lacks acidity, so I was willing to give this a shot. It disappoints. Odd nose, which is also on the palate, of something which smells a bit like a housecleaning product, along with some lemon. While there is decent acidity, the odd aftertaste seems to trump it. Not awful, but I wouldn't buy again.

  • @ Deerpath Inn with Bill & Margaret, easter. This is very good, subtle. Nice fruit and spice with decent finish. Medium bodied which pairs well with various foods and cheese. Really liked it.
