The varietal mix speaks of the need to bleed of juice that is then used for the rosé, but the story told is of blocks designated for rosé and little if any juice being from the soigné method. This was one of my favorite rosés from Virginia. The winemaker explained that 2017 vintage gave greater acidic back bone than previous vintages. This retails for USD 20 in DC and I think it's a really good wine.
Herbal, good acidity, short finish but fine.
