Just absurdly good Bourgogne. For 25$. Reductive in style. Ripe white orchard fruit. Very density for its level. Good acidity. I should buy this by the case.

Bizarrely good Bourgogne. 65+ year old vines in “Les Herbeaux”, in the northern quadrant of Meursault just underneath the 1er Cru “Les Malpoiriers” planted in 1956, with a parcel replanted in 2010, but not yet in production. Reductive style. Great fruit, minerals. Wow. This was head spinningly good for the price ($25).

Wow, tons of terroir, along with pronounced mineral notes, makes for an outstanding wine. Cali chards only dream of capturing this kind of balance for under $30- Paired with oysters, and sea bass, a no brainer.. Drink now -2020 A re buy.
