This bottle is staying in a dumb phase right now. Nose: Great typical Southern Rhône-Blend aromas. Palate: Quite unbalanced, quite harsh tannins and acidity. Will try again after 6 yrs after harvest, I guess best drinking window may be between 6-10+ yrs. after harvest, so around 2022-2026 or so with a potential for 89+ Pts.

The 2016 Premier Terroir is a tasty, well-made showing that is so easy to love. Blueberry and raspberry notes are accompanied by tobacco and smoke that give this effort a bit more personality and nuance vs. the standard Côtes du Rhône. I love the precision and freshness here, and would prefer to consume this wine over the next handful of years.
