Kelley Fox strikes again. Creating a racy, luscious textural saline wine of great elegance and balance. A perfumed grassy floral bouquet leading to a rich leesy palate. There is tropical fruit here……guava & lime. So good now and with a bright future.

Coravin; G5; 4*+8*+4*+8.5+8.5+4.5+4.5=92+; Tasted side by side with the non-Barbie Freedom Hill bottling. This is a slightly darker pale yellow with deeper, richer floral aromas. The mouthfeel is smoother, deeper, richer, more open and refreshing. Palate is predominantly floral with some citrus and a bit of orchard fruit in a fresh package. A long and smooth finish leaves the mouth feeling wonderful. This is exquisitely balanced and will cellar well. You may wonder, "why would I cellar Pinot Blanc?" Well, I think this is one that it would be worth giving a bottle 5 more years and find out! Both of these Pinot Blancs are really good, but the Barbie is exceptional. Kelley Fox Wines website provides excellent info on all the wines and the main differences between these two seems to be that the Barbie is fermented in Acacia wood and the non-Barbie in neutral oak; Barbie for maybe 3-4 months longer. Not that I have tasted a lot of Pinot Blanc, but Kelley Fox has this grape figured out, at least for me. Cheers!
A luscious, mouth coating pinot blanc from Kelley Fox. The nose comes through with golden delicious apple and a hint of baking spice. On the tongue is ripe pear, honeysuckle, just a hint of clove, a bit of almond, mouth watering acidity and a beautifully long finish. Lovin' this wine.

Austin Offline; 8/24/2018-8/25/2018 (Kevin's House): Dense yellow-gold, maybe a bit cloudy. Appealing nose shows grassy, tropical and melon notes. Light but palate-coating, with alcohol adding a decent vinosity. Nice acidity for current drinking with food, or for sipping. Pleasant finish, good length, touch of heat. 13% abv
