The character comes from the clean bite of acidity which grips early, but does not obliterate the plain red fruit which hovers alongside. Wakes the senses, lasts without tailing off as the fruit diminishes and a broad woody finish

Tasted at the winery on tour with the Whitewater Valley Wine Society, Hampshire, UK. Winemaker Hugh Liddell introduced the wine and said this was from the 2015 vintage. Pinot meunier, pinot noir, pinot precosse, chardonnay. Light bronze colour. Light wild strawberry nose. Good balance, lively bubbles, strawberries, butterscotch. Good length.

Not bad though the least rosé I have ever seen with it barely showing any colour at all. A little sweet and simple perhaps?
