This has some interesting stuff going on currently — beef jerky, tobacco, dried herbs and meat, but with some crunchy berries. Probably not going to last too much longer but a nice mix of tertiary notes and some brighter fruit notes.

Much better after about an hour after opening. Red cherries and fruity with hints of tobacco that ends with a spicy finish. It was rather muted when I first opened it.

This is nice pinot noir 'table wine,' nothing fancy or complex about it. Strongly fruit forward, followed by notes of tobacco, cedar and oak. It's sort of... entry-level, if you will. At the price it's a good bargain for regular drinking rather than special occasions.

This screwcap Pinot Noir is delectable, . . . especially given the modest tariff. Dark cherry red. Medium bodied. Slight tearing. Nose to glass: candied apple, cherry, cola, plum, and strawberry. On the velvety palate: extracted cherry, black raspberry and strawberry flavors are supported by earth, confectioner’s sugar, cherry pit and must, with a hint of wood spice. Nicely balanced. Blind, I surely would have guessed Willamette Valley, reminiscent of Ken Wright’s style. Serious bottle variation, though. Previous bottle was raw, making no improvement. This one was really something. QPR. 13.3% abv.
