Pale straw. Sauvignon nose and attack with a slightly rounded, richer seeming mid-palate. Decent length. Not unlike an oakes Kiwi SB with a few years of bottle age. Decent. ***

Wine Education Service - Miguel Torres (Imperial College): Bright, light gold with a hin of green. Slightly oaky nose, buttery, a bit aromatic , some minerality. Refreshing, good acidity, luscious attack and a bitter finish, medium length.

Torres tasting (Britannic Wine Club, Sunbury): Smokey, flinty sauv nose. Comes out with air. Lovely fresh, almost searing acidity on the attack, reasonably long. Smokey, reasonably mioneral. Good. 13.5abv. Good. ***

Cream of the Catalans (South Hampstead High School): Light gold. Typical sauvignon blanc nose but not too obvious - a bit like a good Sancerre. Grapefruit and oak (not too heavy), needs food but it's an easy drinker, good length.

Light gold in color, the nose jumps out of the glass with cut grass, and pear coming to mind. The mouth feel is soft with a medium acidity and a somewhat flat finish. Very herbal in the mouth with nice peach hints. Nice wine, but nothing to write home about. 2.5/5
