100% French oak, of which 50% is new. The fruit is predominantly off the home block from vines that are 75 years old. This is darkly fruited and threaded with a strand of licorice. It is savoury, with good build. The finish is chewy and there’s a suggestion of aniseed once the wine is swallowed.
