This is really potent smelling - lots of buttery corn syrup splashed over a bowl of soy sauce soup. Suprisingly , it really doesn't taste over the top but it does taste big with ripe lemons, butter corn, rich dollop of minerality and just enough acidity to pull it back from the brink of exaggeration. A bit fat still though with lots of oak.

Not bad but nothing really memorable about it. Pretty basic stuff as far as Chardonnay goes. Tastes like it saw little to no oak so that may be appealing to some who don't like overly oaky Chardonnay.
