Finger Lakes Vacation 2018; 9/2/2018-9/7/2018 (Finger Lakes, New York, USA): Tasted at the winery. This wine was fermented with extended skin contact, producing a medium-orange color. Really cool and challenging nose that was a little spicy, a little meaty, and a little fruity. After a lot of sniffing and debate we figured out it was cloved oranges. Bit of a letdown on the palate, although the dusting of fine tannins was nice. "Very good," 88/100.
