Enjoyed on Christmas Day with the in-laws. Not your typical over the top Tobin James wine. This had nice cab characteristics with hints of plum on the nose, as well as hints of mint. Very tannic when first opened, but the tannins mellowed out over the course of an hour. Great QPR, and we always enjoy Toby's wines.

Wonderful quaffer with good Cabernet characteristics. It definitely won't change your life, but as a California Cab, you can do worse at twice the price. Recommended as a pop and pour Cabernet for those hamburgers out on the patio!

Tobin James Winery (Khoury's Fine Wine and Spirits - Henderson, NV): This wine was served in a generic wine tasting glass. The color is a deep purple and the nose has a lot of pepper with hints of currant, blackberry and oak. On the palate the wine is overly dry and firm with very light tannins and I get almost no fruit. In fact all I can think about is the dryness of the wine. Upon second and third taste I do get a little fruit forward on the wine, but it is quickly overpowered by the dryness of the wine. I finish is acceptable and long - but I am not happy about this becuase it takes longer to get rid of the dry taste in my mouth.
This is a poor offering and I would not recommend this. (75-80)

Good for price poin and an everyday staple wine, full bodied feel, light finish though, but distinguishable dark berry flavors, finish was smooth

An incredible value! Can definitely stan-up to & play ball with the big boys @ a fraction of the price.
