Botttled under screwcap, this deep ruby blend of 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah requires some time in decanter to blow off its reductive notes. Thereafter, it reveals a pleasant nose of red cherries, raspberries, coriander and a whiff of tolerable brett, followed by comparable red fruit flavors on a medium-bodied palate. As is the case with most everything, the devil is in the details. The devilish detail of this wine is that it is lacking in depth and finishes short. Nothing wrong here at this price, but don't expect anything that would be confused with higher-end offerings from the Southern Rhone. Drink now-2022.
Côtes du Rhône Tasting (Chicago, IL): Tasting, brief note. Blackberry and cherry with savory spice and good+ weight for its level. Good+ length, but slightly rugged for right now, this will benefit from a year or two in the cellar. Another good everyday pizza wine.

Pretty but a bit dilute. Not exciting.
