Syrah/tempranillo/garnacha, aged in French oak for 12 months.
Deep, ruby color.
Tons of dark fruit on the nose (blackberry, plum), currant, a hint of strawberry, vanilla, leather, liquorice, menthol, bell pepper (a bit sharp), pencil, pine cone.
On the palate: firstly soft, smooth, stewed fruit, laurel, and then the bell pepper kicks in, leaving a green, bitter and tannic sensation that is not wholly unpleasant, but maybe a bit too sharp and sudden.
