Ripe stone fruit compared to the Meursault, tighter, fresher and more minerality, tropical fruits and vanilla bean fill the palate. For the price, I would go for this.

Medium gold colour. Medium and developing nose with yellow apples, peach, ripe lemon, toast, hazelnuts and wet stone. Medium (+) taste of yellow apples, ripe lemon, toast, hazelnut, charred wood, oak and wet stone. Medium (+) long and dry finish. Medium (+) acidity. Medium body. A very good Auxey-Duresses that has matured well with a distinct taste of oak. Needed an hour to open. Drink now or over the next year. Goes well with cheeses, fish or shellfish.

Light yellow, with greenish tone
Fresh citrus aromas, some minerality - very appealing on the nose
Medium bodied with good length and freshness
A very good "budget alternative" for Central Burgundy
