  First bottle from this producer; it is solid, but not great. The nose shows nice bright red fruits, floral notes, and a hint of crushed rock. The palate is pretty tight and coiled so its difficult to interpret. Doesn't seem to have enough fruit depth for the acidity and structure, though at this young stage that could be misleading. Overall I thought it was ok, but for the price there are better village wines for sure.

  Vigna Les Herbues del 1980 (20% diraspato - 40% legno nuovo)
  Incenso, spezie, fiori e mandarino a manetta. Spatato, vaporoso, mentolato.
  Bocca ancora un filo cruda e tannino amaro dei raspi, quasi rugoso. Ancora primario e con un filo di alcol di troppo. Ha bisogno di due anni di bottiglia.
  Più naso che bocca.
