Appearance is pale red typical of Pinot. The nose has abundant red fruit with strawberry, ripe cherry, raspberry, little peppery, lack of barnyard funkiness, lack of more savory notes. Palate has medium plus acidity, mild tannin with a little lingering grip, mild etoh, short-medium length. Flavor profile is similar to nose, lacks the complexity I was expecting. Not bad, but kind of underwhelming and I’m left disappointed to be honest. Comment below mentioned that this wine was better younger, and so I might have missed its optimal drinking window.

disappointing. past it prime. fruit decline made too acidy and lost its balance. originally tasted near release and was excellent, but waited too long.

An explosive nose of tart cherry and herbs that allowed the palate of this wine to range from tannins and fruit all the way to a unexpected savoriness. The finish was as long as the nose was memorable. PnP at a restaurant with the last glass and a half being the best. The tannins and savory earthiness helps this wine compete with and not by steamrolled by the fattiness and flavors of a charred bone-in ribeye. Looking for more!
