It's almost all primary, and very tightly wound - the fruit is high-toned, dense, and pure, kirsch-like, lots of sour cherry and the structure is quite stern. The acid is nice, the tannins are pebbly in nature & very drying and there's a touch of black pepper on the finish. I would recommend putting this away for a decent amount of time, which is what I'll do with my remaining bottles.

Very nice Beaune. Probably deserves a 90 but drank it with steamed dumplings and vegetable stir fry.
