  • Perfect timing for this bottle. Good acidity, minerals, freshness, citrus, but also good body. Not a lot of nose, but long, lingering taste.

  • Crisp, mineral, quite elegant. Malo here? Not complete, anyway, it's a slim line chardonnay, but well build at that.

  • Love this. Drank very chilled out of snow in front of house. Non oaky, crisp and light. Perfect for sipping on its own or would pair nicely with some light foods.

  • Hello fresh acidity!

Appearance - clear, medium gold. Pristine looking.

Nose - medium intensity. As it warms and gets more air notes are emerging. Fresh, youthful, ripe juicy pear, kiwi, sweet apple, some baking notes, you do get alcohol burn. Listed as 12.6. I would guess more. Maybe that is the only flaw or due to age.

Palate - powerful. Hello acidity and fruit. Tastes fresh, youthful, palate feels integrated. Alcohol feels medium. Medium body. Lively. You get some of the cedar frizzante on mid palate to finish. Finish lingers. Minerality. Some saline. Flavors are apple, kiwi, mandarin orange papaya, tropical fruits, passion. Pear.

Definitely new world AND well done. A nice fresh expression for a Chard with a bit of age still drinking quite fresh. As it opens, I say body is medium plus. This is a wine that holds its own with food without being an oak bomb. The standout is the alive acidity. It’s fresh and rich tasting. For the price it’s much more pleasant than the wine last night. Reminds me a bit of the Liquid Farm labels.

With air and dinner, getting a more mature wine, some bitterness emerging, herbal notes, but vibrancy continues. This wine is alive and dances on palate. I had it with scallops but it is a great roast chicken wine (true...what isn’t?). It’s versatile. I can see the cheese pairing. I’m a fan.
