  • First time with this wine, light hay in color, starts with an exotically enticing nose I can't quite place, almost a light potpourri/cinnamon note; the Jacquère fruit is a little Chenin-like, with a nicely fruity note, balanced by subtle saline/umami character, fresh but not dominating acidity, and some good granite minerality coming through on the finish. A very fresh, lively, tasty wine, easy to drink while still offering some complexity to ponder.
