Nose: honey, lemon, earth, : palate: same with a smooth, medium-thick mouth feel, more complex as it opens, pear, stone fruit, more luscious, love this and worth its price. 94

From the oldest vines of the estate. Aged for 11 months in 47% new French oak. Pineapple and honeysuckle on the nose. Quite a weighty wine, feels quite round and creamy in the mouth. Ends with a dry, mineral finish.

Only had a few ounces as poured for many folks so didn't get to taste it as it evolved. Seemed lighter and restrained compared to other vintages that I've enjoyed over the years. Pleasant but this taste was not up to my expectations, especially at this price point.

Knowing its provenance and great history of location, this "Upper Barn Vineyard" made for high expectation. Add to that the price and it has a high bar to exceed.
That said, this wine was just ok. Rich and just slightly butterery, the wine is a well balanced traditional style. More mineral and exotic fruit which is not really my taste. I certainly appreciate the craft.

Really liked this one - tropical fruits, not heavily oaked. Just really enjoyed this one.
