  After tasting 2011, which was extraordinary, I feel disappointed with this one as it feels miles behind in balance, flavour depth and complexity. Aged for 24 months in used FR oak, 9 months in bottle. Medium+ garnet red colour, ruby hue. Aroma of cherries, spices, intense lavender whiff, violets, leather, tobacco, plums. Medium body, fleshy and fresh with bright and racy quite overpowering acidity, mild powdery tannins. Flavours of underripe black fruits, floral and leathery hints with spiced touches.
