This 2016 DRC Hautes Cotes de Nuits is the first vintage completely vinified by Alexandre Bernier, who is now the cellarmaster of DRC since 2018. This 2016 exceeded our expectation and arguably better than the 2014, which was tight and reserved when tasted last year. This 2016 Hautes Cotes de Nuits offers an attractive bouquet of bright citrus, expressive creamy white fruits and ripe lemons. Generous body with superb balance between the acidity and fruits. Broad-shouldered minerals on the finish. Excellent. (89/100)

Quite fresh and good acidity. Good amount of flesh. Nice.

Ripe, white fruit aromatics. Nice acidity and balance on palate.
