For those UK based users of CT, and especially those who acquired this wine for the amazing price of £10 a bottle from M & S, it is time to drink up. The colour is slightly alarming being a rather burnished gold, but there is still some vibrant life in it. Drank nicely with seafood risotto.

Drunk for our annual Boxing Day fish dish and confirmation from last year that this wine is very definitely mature but still provides pleasure. The fruit has faded somewhat and the wine has a definite gold burnish edge but still seemed fresh and vibrant. However time to drink up this year.

Boxing Day - fish - as we have noted before this wine seems a tad aged. It is still most pleasant but has lost most of its citrus vibrancy and the golden hue to the colour does such an element of maturity. It seems in a transient moment before hopefully a soft luxurious adult plateau.

Certainly feels and tastes more mature than before but no sign yet of over-ageing. All trace of citrus has gone, this is now brioche, butter with a hint of melon; still quite light for a PM 1er Cru.

This is getting better and better. Avoids the over citrus edge that I find common in PM. Lovely balance, a great wine for top quality shellfish.
