Nadia is the secondary label of Laetitia, who most notably produces pinot noir and sparkling wines. The Nadia Quattro offering is an intriguing blend of Cabernet, Tempranillo, Grenache, and Petit Sirah.
Dark purple color, almost opaque in the glass. Juicy blackberry, plum, boysenberry, vanilla, and oak on the palate. The black licorice-laden addition of Petit Sirah is particularly notable, even at 10%, and is my least favorite characteristic of this wine. However, this rare blend is smooth and very tasty, with medium acid and medium alcohol. Paired well with bacon-wrapped dates.
