Bottle no. 1918. Dark violet in the glass. Strong nose of cracked pepper with some plum and forest floor. Complex and subdued palate of plum and blueberry exhibiting occasional black olive overtones. Full bodied with a medium to thick silky-smooth mouthfeel as tannins have fully integrated. Medium length finish with a bit medicinal aftertaste. Throws a fair amount of sediment at the end. Paired nicely with medium rare eye filet steaks and baked potatoes. Would have rated 94 or 95 except for the finish.

Great Flavour in traditional Barossa style drinking really well with good length. It’s a good time to open it now
