Tasted blind, called 2017 Oregon Pinot, nailed it.
Beautiful earthy forest floor on the nose underpinned by some tart cherries and raspberries. Palate had nice acidity and tension, little bit of tannins, but overall rather smooth. Plenty of earthy components too. Finish was more red flowers, red berries, earth.
Over time there was some oak on the nose, but it blew off easily by swirling the glass. Shockingly it didn't bother me, as I am typically very averse to oak flavors in lighter styled wines.
I absolutely loved this. Drinking beautifully now and can go another 3-5 years without a problem. For me, this hits the sweetspot of age showing earthy complexity but still with primary fruit. 92-93 easily for me.
Cherry and strawberry on the nose with some earthy forest floor and tobacco. The palate had good body, acid and length. Over time the oak became pretty dominant for me and was a bit off-putting, but overall a very quality wine at very good QPR. You can let this sit a few more years if you want.

I continue to be impressed with the quality of entry level Oregon pinot. This is another example of a wine that punches above its weight class. Impressive purity, even if it isn't particularly complex. Red fruited, with cherry undertones.
I could drink a lot of this.

Very solid offering which develops nicely with ample time in the glass. Wish I had a case!
