Delicious wine right off the bat. I have another bottle that my plan is to age, but this tastes great as a young and fresh wine. Frankly, I'm not sure aging is the right idea except that it seems like a wine built to age.
Pinot Nero made by Federico Staderini, the enologist at the wonderful (and expensive, hard to find) Poggio di Sotto, according to KLWM.

I wanted to try this, even knowing it was young, opened for a few hours ahead of time and enjoyed over 2 days, the nose is focused with fruit dominating right know but underlying noted of tobacco and licorice emerge from time to time, you gently sense the terroir in a pleasant manner, the nose is very well balance with depth and the right austerity for a big 2015 that it has been in Tuscany, this has potential to age well, palate is relatively high in acidity at this stage, needs time to balance out, day 2 more balanced but this again is a positive in a good wine, Federico is making better wines every year, this is organic and done entirely by manual work, very enjoyable drink
