  • Tasted blind in VV.

Pale grassy green color. Very closed, almost mute nose with vague aromas of somewhat reductive plastic character and a hint of candied fruit marmalade tones. The wine is crisp, racy and acid-driven on the palate with rather light body and tangy flavors of lemony citrus fruits, some apple peel bitterness and a hint of star fruit. There seems to be a hint of residual sugar sweetness at the tip of the tongue. The acidity lends quite a bit of length to the lean, mineral and slightly bitter aftertaste with flavors of lemony citrus fruits and tart green apples.

Although the taste was better than the very nondescript nose, the wine was still rather uninteresting and one-dimensional. Offers quite little pleasure and doesn't really feel like a wine that would get better in a cellar. Waste of money at 12,90€.
