  This is cheap and easy to drink, but seems overmade and lacks any sense of place. Taken from the cellar to go with some sausage, potatoes and kale but doesn't match well due to the 'classy' vanilla new oak, which in itself doesn't match well with the relatively high acid nature of the wine. Hmm.
