  • 12,5% alcohol, 6,4 g/l acidity. Tasted blind in VV.

Pale, limpid greenish color. Somewhat green-toned and varietally typical nose with aromas of cut grass, some asparagus and a hint of crushed currant leaves. The wine is medium-bodied, crunchy and pretty balanced on the palate with flavors of lemony citrus fruits, white currants, some passion fruit, a little bit of nettles and a hint of currant leaves. The high acidity lends good freshness and sense of structure to the wine. The finish is pretty long and quite acid-driven with green-toned flavors of lemon, cut grass, some green asparagus and a hint of passion fruit.

A very typical and predictable run-of-the-mill Sauvignon Blanc. Nothing wrong here, but definitely nothing memorable. Very average and very boring. A reliable pick if you happen to love simple Sauvignon Blanc, but 10,18€ for a wine like this feels a little steep.
