Chardonnay blind at Goldhill. Drank in Gabriel Standart and Grassl Cru. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, gold colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of integrating oak, salty nuts, almond, whipped cream, ripe yellow apple lightly baked, bit of apricot. Developed. On the palate, dry, just about high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet citrus lemon cream, ripe baked yellow apple, bit of apricot, integrated cream oak, almond nuts, some green pear with air. Long finish. Good quality. Substance is there, but something off about the balance. Not sure I would be ageing this more based on this bottle showing.

Boulder Burgundy Festival 2019 with Adam M ~ Petroleum and barnyard. Definitely the more interesting of the two puligny wines but probably not worth the price. I felt like the flavour profile started great and then fell off a cliff and ended abruptly.

Classically styled puligny. This one drinks well with very little air and is in a good place right now.
