Croatian orange (?) wine from Dalmatia: Debit. Aged for 18 months in barrique barrels. 13,5% alcohol.
Beautiful amber color.
Aromas of orange peal, walnut, apple juice and vanilla. Flavors of lemon, apricot, apple and butter.
Dry. Full body. Medium acidity. Some rather chewy tannins. Okay balance. Unusual structure. Pretty complex.
Medium finish with apple and bitterness.
A wine that works good with food (coq au vin) and even better on its own. It grows during the night and is at its best, after a few hours of air, when it reaches room temperature. I’m impressed by the craftsmanship behind this wine, will definitely try more wines from Bibich. 93/100

Crazy demerara nose. then lychee and apricot notes drive this bus in a crazy fashion. Some barrel edges. Really rocks pretty hard though.
