Finding this wine improving with each tasting as it comes into better focus and balance. Gave 4h air. Medium ruby/garnet color. Aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, chocolate, baking spice, menthol, forest floor and pencil shavings. Big, but supple, with creamy texture and juicy dark red fruit on the palate. Remains earthy throughout the mid palate and finish, where hints of menthol and anise emerge. Belle Fiore continue to overperform from the Rogue Valley.

Aged in French and American Oak, 50% new. Gave 2h of air.
Medium-dark ruby color. Offers up blackcurrant, vanilla, oak, tobacco, and hints of bell pepper and violet. This dense and balanced Rogue Valley Cabernet Sauvignon paired nicely with the steak we had for dinner. Creamy texture, full bodied, a backbone of polished tannins, and flavors of blackcurrant and tobacco, with hints of anise in the finish.

Drank it over several nights. Medium-body Cab, some good fruit, heavy on tannin.
