Picked up at GO and this is a great bottle at $5. Solid Cabernet. Day 2: this completely fell apart. Completely different from yesterday. Not great at all.

Wow, this was exceptionally aged. But was hoping for something a bit fresher, younger with some fruit. This was like a 10 year old CS, interesting but not appreciated, or expected. Pretty sure it’s on its downside. Obviously no need to get more. Curious as to how the 2nd bottle is, will be having it sooner, rather than later. Glad it was only $15.
Background Details: When Geyser Peak was its own winery, this was a pretty special wine for them and part of their “Block Collection” that was only available at the winery and it was about $45. While this may still be from the Walking Tree Vineyard, it’s not like the earlier vintages.

Not the Geyser Peak that I remember. Still enjoyable but just ok.
