Lunch at béni. Bottle off the wine list. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of fragrant stony minerals, brine, citrus lemon-lime, touch of nutty toast oak, bit of leafy grassiness. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of green lime, citrus lemon, green pear/apple, sucking wet stones minerality, some brine, light spice, integrated oak, interesting hint of pineapple with more air. Long minerally finish. Very good quality. Very much one of those intellectually stimulating wines. Complex. Rare monopole plot. Drinks well now with some air, and should continue to develop well over the next few years also.

Pretty gold colour with green tints. Nose develops lime aromas, yellow fruits, citrus, vanilla aroma and brioch. Light caramel notes.Touch of spiciness and great complexity. On the palate, great oaky character , long and persistant aftertaste. Balanced and dense.
The Mercurey Premier Cru 'La Mission' monopole 2015 will perfectly pair with scallops or mushroom risotto, as well as fruity cheeses as Tomme or Comté.
It can be served from now at 12-14°C or kept in cellar for 3 to 8 years, even longer with patience.

Paulee dinner in Singapore. From Jero. This was showing well. Fine texture, sweetish fruit, good acidity. Very nice white Burgundy.

La Paulee du Singapour 2020 and Trade Pre-Tasting; 1/16/2020-1/17/2020 (One Fullerton/ Grand Hyatt Singapore): Pale straw coloured, a slight silvery sheen. Ripe candied lemon tart aromas, and a slight bit of leaves. Acidic and a fair candied fruit intensity, mainly lemon candy and mandarin. Nice, and quite a good length
