Still holding itself together and delicious with the Tiramisu and Ricotta Cheesecake. Still that wonderful spot between Sauternes and Sherry. Just the right touch of sweetness and only a vague hint of kerosene (in a good way.) The caramel and harmony increased over the hour that we shared the Vin Santo.

This bottle displaying the wonderful Vin Sant character that is somewhere between a Sauternes and a Sherry. Sweet, but not too sweet, best against a Tiramisu or biscotti or something else which is not too sweet. This bottle was clearly mature but not in any sense fading. I have enjoyed it over a dozen years and with 2 bottles left look for to more wine joy.

Amber color. Butterscotch, caramel, honey and apricot, with a clean smooth finish. Not very sweet. Delicious end to last night's dinner.
