Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • First wine tasted from Savoie. I quite liked this one. Dark cherries, camphor, red apples, a bit of pepper on the nose. Reminds me of a Beaujolais, actually, though only on the nose. Cool fruit, red currant, quite fresh. Fine grained tannins, a bit grippy. Decent length. Wonder how this would be with a few years of cellaring. Worth the price.
