  • from magnum... very light in color for its age. aromatically was citrus and mineral driven, no tropical notes, had moderate bisquity autolysis notes, no oak influence. on the palate the mousse was very fine and abundant, light in weight, very low in phenolics which is common in warmer climate methode champ wines, lot alcohol, moderate dosage. balanced wine with good length, ok intensity, good complexity. tons of finesse, a very fine texture, expresses a non champagne region methode champ slightly warmer climate well. this is a great wine out of magnum and the style surprised me quite a bit. drink now or hold. think ripe chablis sparkler in style.
