Dark ruby red in the glass. Very fruity Tannat, but not sweet. Has some tannic grip to it and a solid acid. Some meaty notes come out on the aftertaste, but there's no complexity beyond that. A straightforward sipper made to be drunk slightly chilled.

Big, giant fruit bomb. Probably a crowd-pleaser kind of wine. First wine I've had from Uruguay, so can only compare to American tannat, but this was far more fruit forward than the ones i've tasted from Tablas Creek.

Dark red, fruity, oak, red berries, tobacco, complex and with good aftertaste. This is really good!
