Rubber, pomme and pineapple, oddly a distinct confectioner’s sugar note...especially odd since on the palate this is dry and that note is gone. Palate is very juicy in feel but the actual fruit character is kinda generic and muted. M to M- acid, M body, a little flat on the tongue. This is only okay. Works well enough with food (we had it with a pumpkin and sweet potato tagine and miso-ginger-sesame slaw) but forgettable. ~4.5-5/10

Nice dry kabinett with good concentration and length. Floral nose followed by melon and pit fruit. Tons of slatey stone on the midpalate and lemon pith on the finish. Acidity is prodigious and a bit biting, though it calms down a little with air.

Acidity driven. Improves after two days (argon spray protected).
Pairs very well with charcuterie.
